Da Poke Shack was conveniently located by some beautiful beaches. It was a little different in the sense that it had other things like squid and clam. We appreciated the variety!
Cute lil local shop. You haven't had fresh made and mixed to perfection poke till you've had it from here!!!! We got Pele's Kiss, Spicy garlic, Poke Shack Special and Wet Hawaiian with mussels, and spicy clam sides with furikake rice???????????????? ONOLICIOUS !!!
Absolutely delicious poke spot, no frills and the fish is always super fresh! A must do if you’re in Kona!
As someone with a high standard for seafood/Asian food I loved this! All their options were delicious and super tasty. Although it wasn’t a cheap meal ($18 for a bowl) the portion was decent and there was a good variety. I had the garlic and wasabi, special and seaweed and would recommend. Overall 100% worth the visit, I would recommend!
Delicious poke!!! We stopped here for lunch and we are so glad we did! I got the Wet Hawaiian and Pele’s Kiss both were amazing! You can definitely tell how fresh everything is. The service was quick but friendly, they are used to people not knowing what to order but did a great job helping us interpret the menu and pick things we would like. The tables outside were full but we walked a little ways down and ate looking out at the ocean which made the meal even better! We will definitely eat here again!
The poke was spectacular. The parking, not so much!! I really enjoyed the poke, and they had a lot of unique meats and options. I don't think there was anything cooked - it was mainly raw seafoods and such. You'll love it if you're an adventurous eater. The only complaint is that the parking lot is so tiny - it fits like 10 cars, but it is very difficult to get out. Don't park in this parking lot if you are a newer driver, if you don't have a rear view camera, or if you're uncomfortable in small spaces. You may be able to park on the sides of the streets instead.
It was very good for all pokes menu. i ordered overall pokes cross with my hubby and had opportunity to have. all flavors is amazing to us. and the most good thing is k-food menu such as elevated kimchi side menu!
Delicious poke!!! It's a really small store with limited chairs/tables for dine in but it doesn't matter because you can literally get poke and eat it by the ocean. They have a 2 scoop option which was nice compared to the other poke places. The fish was fresh and everything was delicious. Only issue is it's a little bit pricey compared to others. The store is located in an apartment complex so 15min parking only and it's very limited. Also have unreliable hours (closed Sat/Sun) but online it says they're open 7 days.
Some excellent poke. We went two days in a row and they were sold out, but luckily the third day they were open. The Shack Special poke was great, as was the spicy crab and Hawaiian style poke. Definitely a good spot!
